The Zilina regional authorities are building institutions rather than developing community-based alternatives. The newly renovated long-stay institution for men in Liptovský Hrádok tragically called ‘EDEN,’ will have capacity for 81 men and have 51 staff. The renovation cost 1.88 million Euro, of which 1.48 million Euro were EU Structural Funds.
