‘One Person at a Time’ Webinar (23 March 2018)

ENIL-ECCL held its third in a series of webinars on the 23rd March 2018, with 12 people attending. The aim of the webinar series is to help us all think about what works, so that we can plan the steps needed in our own countries or in our organisations to begin the real work to close down institutions for disabled people. We heard from three presenters: Anja Kutnjak and Andreja Rafaelic from the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia about their personal planning with people in institutions, as a first step to them moving out. We also heard from Kate Fulton from AVIVO in Perth, Western Australia, about the support they provide to people to live in the community.
