European Conference on Discrimination against People with Complex Needs: 4 5 June 2008 in Brussels

The European Commission has financed an in-depth European Study on the Specific Risks of Discrimination Against Persons in Situation of Major Dependence or with Complex Needs. On 4 and 5 June 2008, the Study will launch its results at a conference in the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the European Union in Brussels.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the results of this study and further action with the researchers and with the members of the Policy Committee of the Study. Representatives of national governments and of the European Commission will contribute their views on how the rights and interests of people with severe disabilities or with complex needs can be better protected. The attached programme provides an overview of the event.
